It's a milestone birthday for Grandma Mare today, and she's celebrating with friends over breakfast. Wish I could be there:) This morning I'm continuing to drain the pool and get that ready to open. We didn't plan to drain it this year, but a wind storm tore off the cover and fouled up the water, so we're starting fresh. Aliyah and Dustin are coming over after school, and we have plans to visit Lakeside Park as they prepare for Walleye Weekend. Everything is getting a facelift, from putting in new bricks near the rides, to painting the lighthouse. It's always fun to see what's new. Heading off this morning to finish getting annuals and veg plants for the garden. I wish it would warm up...it's currently 42 degrees.
