Jill got her wish!

Kudos to my sister Jill who saw her favorite musician in the whole world! Eric Clapton entertained at the Sommet Center in Nashville. She stayed at Elise and James' house, even though they were visiting relatives in Missouri. Wow, she had a great seat too and said he was phenomenal. Don't think she was allowed to take any photos though:( Today's photo is of Eva and friend Stacy at a jazz club/Irish pub in Madison. Fun. Elle is just home from the Taste of Fond du Lac, where she played jazz with the band. Afterward she had hand bell choir rehearsal. Paul is playing at a dance club in Kewaskum with the Downtowner Band. Busy day for all.

Remembering Grandpa Les

Photo today is Grandpa Les enjoying one of his army reunions in Vermont. Today would be his 95th. birthday. We surely miss him.

Later I'll post some pictures from the baptism which was after the mass this morning. Thanks to Steve for the photos. Belle was wonderful. Thanks also to Father Pat for coming up and doing the baptism, and for staying for the celebration. It was great to see everyone. Until I can get the photos uploaded, thought everyone might enjoy some pics from Isabelle's first photo shoot yesterday. She did very well for a 3 month old:)

Congrats to Krissy and Justin...

Just home from the wedding of niece Krissy and Justin. It was truly beautiful in every respect. Will post a few photos now, and a few each day for a while. We are bone tired. Baby Belle proved to be a great little traveler today on her first flights, and tonight she was passed around all evening at the dance. Sleeping soundly now. Sounds good to me.

It's been a tough 2 days, with some unforeseen problems at work. I am dealing with them. Things will get better. I have a lighter note,(isn't note a cool word here for a family of musicians?) Krissy and Justin's wedding is this Friday, and Eva and Paul have some stellar music prepared. Elle might bring her sax to add to the evening entertainment. I am so happy to go, and am in debt to brother Jeff who is picking up James, Elise and Babe in Mad town later and joining us at the evening reception.
