getting ready...

We set up the hall on Thursday rather than the original plan of Friday. This was a great idea. It was a lot of work. First the hall was cleaned and the banquet tables stored. Next, Paul and James worked in the freezing wind to bring in 30 rented round tables and 240 chairs from the U-Haul. Quite a job, but the hall looks lovely. Afterward we had a wonderful dinner at Sebastians, James' favorite steak house. Elise and I had scallops, and there were SO many, we took a boxful home:) Fell into bed exhausted at 11. Gifts are arriving at the house for James and Elise. They stayed up awhile and opened a few.
