Busy Day Planned!

We were able to get a live feed (audio) of James performing from Denver yesterday. No word yet on his placement. It was really nice. Today's a busy day at Holy Family for me, I always work an 8 hour day on Friday. Have to plan a funeral for Monday, and I'm also in the process of finding a prison mentor for a young man (19) coming out after 18 months, and wanting a mentor to keep him focused on his goals and recovery (drugs and alcohol.) For lunch, I'm meeting a woman from an area group home, who also runs an antique shop. It's always fun visiting her shop, and she has lots of stories to tell. Then Elise and I are visiting our parishioners at the Hospice Home of Hope. This Saturday, the Lion's Club is having their annual
"pea" sale at the farmer's market, which is always fun...they shell peas and sell them by the 5 pound bag! They are so good. By the way, all you Manitowoc folks...do you remember Jenny Hughes? She's getting married this weekend.(07/07/07)
Eva and Paul are doing the wedding...(not Elise, because when they planned, they didn't know if she'd be around.) I was asked by a sister-in-law of Jenny's, to write some memories of her from the 80's. It was great fun looking through videos and reminiscing!
