Here's another event the Manitowoc/Sheboygan folks may want to attend. It's the Corona Surfing Competition. Viewing is free on the North Beach. It's the largest freshwater surfing venue/competition in the world. We're attending a funeral at 1, but will head over after that. Hope to see you there:)

Saturday Sept. 4: North Beach. Eastern Surfing Association competitions (waves permitting) and buy/sell/swap surfing-related products and photos. Surf information booth.
9 a.m. — Eastern Surfing Association-sponsored Surfing Competition (waves permitting)
1 p.m. — Individual Pro Paddle Competition (21 years or older)
1:30 p.m. — Individual Master's Paddle Competition (16-20)
2 p.m. — Individual Youth Paddle Competition (15 and younger)
2:30 p.m. — 3-Person Paddle Relay
3 p.m. — Stand-up Paddle Competition
5 p.m. — Awards banquet and raffle at the Richardson Center Outdoor Picnic Area. Grills and picnic tables provided. Live music, food and fun. Bring something to grill or pass.
Sunday Sept. 5: North Beach: North Beach. Eastern Surfing Association Competitions (Waves permitting) and Buy/Sell/Swap surfing related products and photos.
