wintry mix

We're having a quiet evening inside due to the wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow. Eva and her Sabre Show troupe of singers and dancers are on the road tomorrow to Chicago, so I hope the roads are clear by 6 AM when they leave. Elle has district competition in Oshkosh tomorrow night, and then solo and ensemble on Saturday. Paul is of course accompanying several groups and students. He always enjoys being involved. I had a difficult day at work today. Our autistic young man assaulted a pregnant co-worker. She'll be O.K., but initially we had several anxious moments. The incident happened at the Mall, so is was exacerbated by security and police who have very little experience with autism, and so actually fueled the situation. All was quiet by the time I left. The client was back in the residence, and the woman took the rest of the day off. Good idea...she was quite shook up, but not seriously hurt thankfully. I have the day off tomorrow, but will check in early for an update.
