Today is Holy Family's "Chili Bowl" at the fairgrounds. It's a nice church picnic with games and prizes and of course chili. The chili is usually pretty good, and a bit spicy:) Today after mass, Henry and Earl had showers. They really love them, so I try to give them a shower weekly. Afterward they spent a lot of time preening, and look super shiny. Friday was very pleasant with a trip to Manitowoc to visit the whole family...Jeff and Mickey joined us as well, so we had a regular feast. Also visited with friend Kim and actually spent the night at her place, which gave us a nice chance to 'catch up' with all the news of our high school friends. Late in the afternoon on Saturday, Aliyah and I visited with Stan and enjoyed the beautiful weather, with a high of 50. Then we headed back home where Paul was grilling out. It really gave us the springtime feeling:) Can't wait for the real thing.
