Lake Winnebago and 82 degrees:)

Wow! Who would've thought that just 2 weeks ago we had 8 inches of snow. Today we enjoyed the morning on the Lake, and later had lunch at Ardy and Ed's Drive-in. So much has happened in the past 3 weeks. Eva enjoyed her spring break and is now back to Marian to finish the semester. Ellie is getting ready for her choir trip to New York City, and Elise is practicing for the Symphonic Band concert featuring selections from the opera Carmen. I've been helping out a coworker and working a few extra shifts, but it's broken up with my job at the Rehab center, which is very enjoyable. Tomorrow will be the 3rd. week in a row of having Miss Belle tag along at my volunteer position. The elderly folks really love to see her, and she usually gets a treat from the candy bowl:) Also wish to say Happy Birthday this month to my sister Koko, Paul, Andy, Krissy, Elise, Fr. Pat, and Mary. March 30th. we celebrate with Eva and Mike at their engagement party, and the next day celebrate my birthday as well. Elise wants to head to Trepaniers, her favorite restaurant, for her 28th. I will probably make dinner at home for mine. Right now while Elise is off having coffee with a friend, I'm busy planning a schedule for work this evening. The plan is to take the residents bowling, and follow that up with a pizza party. Hoping the great weather holds. Everyone is feeling 'spring fever' and we're actually getting a lot of outdoor chores done. Usually don't tackle them until May!
