Last night Elle went off to DePere for a band competition and both her jazz combo and jazz 1 band received 'firsts' in state. That makes for a very successful year in music:) Kudos to Elle. We also enjoyed a visit with friend Kate, who fell in love with Elise's dog Jacques. We made 7 dozen cookies, and several types of bars for Eva's senior recital...baking until quite late. Lots to do yet for the recital, but thanks to Sister Marie, I will have everything at the chapel taken care of. She plans to decorate and help prepare the reception beverages and food. Thank goodness for such nice friends! Can't wait for tonight.
