Good-bye to Nashville
As my stay comes to an end, I'll post a few last pics from Nashville. Back in Fondy, we'll have a super busy week with Ellie's 18th. birthday and family party. Following that we'll get ready for the opera concert with Fondy Symphonic Band. Ellie and several musician friends are in the band and are guest soloists, so we are really looking forward to it! The weekend of the 23rd. will see 2 of my nieces children baptized in Manitowoc, and I think we'll spend an overnight with Gmare too. Long term plans include a camping trip with Elise and the 2 babies before she returns to Nashville, and a trip up north to visit a friend's farm. The weather has been brutal as far as outdoor activities, as the heat index has been over 110 for days. Between hikes and pool time, we cool off inside, drink lots of liquids and nap:)

Heat index 108!
We walked in the State Park earlier today as the temperature rose into the 90's. We are taking a lunch break and relaxing a bit now. The heat really wears us out.
