damaged photo...but a keeper

I found this in a cameo...it was damaged in the flood 2 years ago, but it's a favorite. Summer of 1997; Elise is 13, Eva is 9 and Elle is 4:) We were camping on Green Lake during the Green Lake Music Festival.

Minnie's doing better:)

Minnie is feeling much better and home again...has to learn to relax and not work so hard:) Elle's looking forward to playing for graduation tonight with the Symphonic Winds group, and singing in the choir. Tomorrow it's off to Michigan for our nephew's graduation, and my niece's wedding shower. Elle helped me shop for a few new outfits to take along, and I also bought some new jammies. Home again on Monday to a much quieter week. Paul is busy putting in a new stainless kitchen sink. He always has a project. Thank goodness he's so handy. Eva texted that she's enjoying her Nashville vacation, and especially little Belle.

Prayers for Minnie...

This morning we made some cinnamon rolls to take to Minnie to celebrate her birthday, but before we left, Aliyah texted that she was in the hospital. No word yet. Elle and I are headed up there in about an hour. Praying and hoping for the best. Minnie has been very tired lately with caring for her Mom and working 2 jobs, and monitoring elevated blood sugars:( Not the best way to spend your birthday...but we must remain positive!

Off to Bonnaroo:)

Eva and 2 friends are heading to Nashville today. She'll visit Elise while the others hang out and camp at Bonnaroo Music Festival. Lots of places.

The girls reminisced about the various trips...Yellowstone, several trips to New York, Florida, DC, every state park here in Wisconsin, Jeff's land on Lake Michigan, and many other points in between. Not to mention the summer weekends here in Fondy, when the girls had friends over, and over, and over. Pool parties finishing with rousing card games in the camper, also made for good memories. Life is good.

Bye bye camper...

We sold the camper today, and remembered all the great vacations we spent in it, while the girls were growing up. Plan to camp with Belle at a cabin 'up north' in July, so we have something to look forward to. Still, it was bittersweet. May the new owners have as many good times in it as we have had.
