Off to Nashville

We are packing tonight for a week in Nashville to watch the lovelies while Elise and James are away. The past few weeks have been hectic, with many celebrations. The biggest included a party for Miss Charlotte's first birthday. We celebrated with an extended family camping trip in Elise's big backyard :) The 4th. was spent in Manty while supporting Gmare in her recovery from a recent neck surgery. We watched the fireworks from Gmare's driveway with Jason and his family. Photos today are of last evening's sunset at Manitowoc's harbor. Thanks to Michael!

Grad Party!

Pics today are from the party at Holy Family Church hall, which was followed by a second party here and an evening of games and bonfires. What a great day to celebrate! We welcomed friends and family, some we hadn't seen in years, and served over 100 guests :)

Music Parents Scholarship Winner


The Music Parents' Association of the Fond du Lac School District selected Ellie Thelen, daughter of Julie and Paul Thelen, as the recipient of the 2012 Senior Music Scholarship. Will Jewson, President of Music Parents, presented the $500 scholarship to Ms. Thelen at the Senior Music Banquet held last Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fond du Lac.

Baby Bronson party :)

Had a wonderful time with my Manty family attending a shower for Karen, my nephew's wife.  She received many nice gifts, and the food was wonderful, thanks to my lovely sisters. Hopefully we will have some photos soon.  She is naming her baby boy Bronson. It won't be long now.
