Not the culprits...

Elle shares some of her photos from Veteran's park on the holiday weekend. She says the fountain was soapy when they got there:) I guess the city was not amused and had to use 1000 fresh gallons to clean the mess:( Thanks to Elle for the photos...looks like they had fun, and folks from church said they really enjoyed the holiday concert at Lakeside.

Convention results...

Several of you asked about the International Convention in Philadelphia. James and his large chorus, Music City, placed 10th. in competition and were VERY pleased with this outcome. His quartet (The Real McCoys) did well also, but I can't remember the position they finished in. Here are some photos I swiped from Facebook:)

this and that

Aliyah and I relaxed in the pool last evening around 7. It's much more pleasant in the late day when the sun isn't so intense. Today after play practice, Elle and I will shop for new dresses for my nephew Tyler's wedding this weekend. After that I do a little respite work, and also train a new staff at work later in the week. Then on Saturday it's off for a 2 day wedding weekend:) It'll be nice to see the extended family.

Wishing our niece Hannah a happy birthday! The picture was taken in 1995 in mid July, on our way to Yellowstone. I believe this is Lake Butler in South Dakota where we camped the first or second night. A great memory...have a great day Hannah!

Some more vacation pics...

Didn't know the wedding couple. They just happened to be in Elfreth's Alley, the oldest street in Philly. Thought it was a nice photo. We also spent time in Chinatown, while they had a street fair...very interesting foods and entertainment.

4th. of July adventures in Philadelphia:)

Just back from Philly...had a terrific time. Saw Miss America and the Goo Goo Dolls all in the same day:) How funny! Largest crowd at any outdoor concert (in the US) prior to the fireworks at Benjamin Franklin Parkway by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Estimated to be a few hundred thousand to half a million! Elise, James and the baby watched from the 31st. floor suite of the Loew Hotel, but Paul and I were right there in it! (James is directing a barbershop choir in the parade...2 pics are included. He's all in white.)
