Positive energy

Tonight let's all say an extra prayer for a friend. Her husband is dying of cancer and he is only just 50. He has a teen-aged son and a 7 year old daughter. I can't even read his blog because of the tears in my eyes. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

busy busy

Work has been hectic, but overall has gone well with some changes in staff and clients. Elle is rehearsing tonight with the jazz 1 group that won last weekend in Green Bay. Paul is at choir practice, and Henry and I Wii-ed for 1/2 hour, and need a break. The hot tub looks good right now :) Phone pics today are thanks to Elise.

Fondy Jazz Wins Competition

The Fond du Lac High School's Jazz Ensemble I last Saturday was selected the top high school band at the U-W Green Bay's 40th Annual Jazz Festival. They competed against 20 other bands from throughout the state. It's the second time in 3 years that Fondy has won the competition.

Henry and I chill out...

I have a day off today to make plans for the busy wedding weekend coming up. Also found some good recipes for Mardi Gras, as well as the Super Bowl gathering we'll have here. Go Saints:)
